Our Advisor, Partner & Friend: Gone but Will Never Be Forgotten

On September 22, 2002 , Gibson Consulting's Senior Business Advisor, Michelle Vivanz passed away. It was exactly one week after we celebrated all of our Partners and honored her for her longstanding dedication to help build Gibson Consulting over last 5 years.

Michelle was graduate of New York University Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service graduate program.

She worked in the nonprofit field for over 20 years and began her career developing vocational programs for homeless and mentally ill adults in New York City. Before transitioning into the fund development field, she led an innovative community development project targeting at-risk youth residing low-income Staten Island neighborhoods. The outcomes of this innovative program have been researched and documented by a national research think tank. Michelle was simply brilliant. She was always working to build the company, never to gain personal glory. She was kind and brought energy and like mindedness that is very hard to find.

Michelle was not only a trusted business partner, but also a great friend. What a great loss for all of us who knew her! She always instilled into our clients great confidence in our services. Her absence will create a great gap as we continue without her. Michelle will be sorely missed. We're sure Gibson Consulting & Solutions will feel the effects of her passing for a long time.

We will carry on with the business she has helped us build, and in our success, we’ll be honoring Michelle.
