BICA Awards Celebrates Small Black Business Excellence in Harlem NY

The Beauty Industry Community Awards (BICA) is a national event that was created founded by Freddie J Jones with the mission to bridge the gap between the beauty industry and the Community and revive Black Wall Street to create more economic growth.


On Sunday, August 21st, BICA celebrated its New York recipients while networking and enjoying a champagne brunch at the Social Hall on Convent Avenue in Harlem. Our Owner, Keesha Gibson was recognized for her continuous work in the fields of consulting and marketing and the continued services Gibson Consulting & Solutions provides for entrepreneurs, small business owners and nonprofits in the Harlem community. Notable Awardees included Mayor of Mt. Vernon, Shawyn Patterson-Howard; James Alston, Owner, Mccall's Bronxwood Funeral Home and Lawrence Miles of the NY Women's Chamber of Commerce.
