This Circle identifies, funds, and nurtures grassroots organizations working to transform the criminal justice system in the United States. CJI has invested nearly $2M in grants since 2009. It is a leader in the funding of movement work within marginalized communities that are impacted by the criminal justice and immigration systems.

The Bed-Stuy Gateway Business Improvement District is a bustling commercial corridor in Brooklyn NY, that is home to over 400 properties and more than 350 businesses. The BID works to make supplemental municipal services, business development, and commercial revitalization available to the district.
The Gibson Consulting team worked with the BID to identify and strategically work toward operational goals and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and requirements. The team also served as business analysts for project development – responsible for thorough and accurate research, projections and processes to achieve the BID’s goals.
The 40 Acres Fund
Co-Founded by Gibson the Consulting Exec team, The 40 Acres Fund is designed to provide micro-financing and business development services to small businesses and entrepreneurs who do not have access to capital from commercial sources. The goal is to build passionate investors, increase leadership and innovation to the microlending industry and ultimately the circulation of the American dollar within communities of Color. The 40 Acres Fund Movement is set to launch in the fall of 2018.
Ortal Organics uses 90% edible, natural & organic ingredients in their cleaners, detergents, and skin & body care products. Focused on providing "Clean and Green " products to the commercial, educational and hospitality industries, they continue to research new active ingredients to formulate more effective products.
